Strava and Marrow Health
Manual
Send your walks, runs and rides with their routes to Strava as GPX files.
Open in Marrow works on an iPhone with Marrow 1.4.2 or later.
Manual (GPX upload) Free
A CSV, JSON or GPX file, made when you ask for it. You need: Nothing.
- In Marrow, Manual: export routes as GPX.
- Upload the files on strava.com.
If it does not work
In Strava
- A file is refused as too big. Strava takes GPX files up to 25 MB.
- Too many files at once. Strava takes 25 files at a time with a subscription and 15 without. Upload the rest in a second batch.
- It may be a duplicate. Strava does not allow duplicate activities. If Apple Health or your watch already sent that workout, it is there. Delete one first if you want the GPX version.
- No upload on the phone. Strava takes files on its website only: the + icon, Upload Activity, File.
- No GPX files to share. Only workouts that recorded a route have one. Pick a longer range in Export, Manual if it says there are none.
- Corrupted time data or Not an Activity. Strava needs a time on every point. Marrow writes one, so export the file again and upload it unchanged.
Manual checks
- Nothing to share. Each section of Export, Manual makes its file for the range at the top. Pick a longer range if it says there is nothing in it.
More fixes in the guides: Manual.
